About the readers
Ian Hatcher is a writer, performer, and programmer whose work explores cognition in the context of digital systems. Recent output includes a vinyl/mp3 record, Drone Pilot (cOsmOsmOse 2017); a print poetry collection, Prosthesis (Poor Claudia 2016); and numerous screen poems, including the iOS app Abra, created with Amaranth Borsuk and Kate Durbin. His code-inflected vocal performances have been widely presented in North America and Europe. He received his MFA from Brown University and lives in New York.
Taryn Hubbard’s poetry, fiction, reviews, and interviews have appeared in journals such as Canadian Literature, Room magazine, The Capilano Review, Canadian Woman Studies, CV2, filling Station, Rusty Toque, Poetry is Dead,and others. She has published two chapbooks, and lives in B.C.’s Fraser Valley with her partner and their two tuxedo cats. Taryn has been a member of the Room magazine’s editorial board since 2012.
Clint Burnham lives in Vancouver. His books include Smoke Show (novel, 2005), Digital Natives (with Lorna Brown, exh. cat., 2011), and Pound @ Guantánamo (poetry, 2016). His Stories for my iPad series was exhibited at CSA Space in 2016 and is online at Joyland Magazine.
